Baleaf Stretchy UPF 50+ High-Rise Short 9"

My running days are over, but these shorts are perfect for playing pickleball, too. I’m 5’9 ½” tall and weigh 168, so I ordered a large.They fit me perfectly and are very flattering, While there’s some spandex in them for shape, they're not clingy, and they're a nice length. I can move to return those hard pickleball shots with ease and look stylish doing so. Each of the deep side pockets easily holds a pickleball, which makes it less necessary to go chasing a badly hit ball. I was happily surprised when I noticed the zippered back pocket, too. It is wide enough to hold my gym fob, locker key, and even a credit card and/or some cash if I wish without creating a bulge.

Pros:I love the lightweight, quick-dry fabric and how comfortable these shorts feel. The two front pockets are very practical, and I really appreciate the zippered pocket at the back of the waistband for securing small items. The style is cute and flattering, and the length is perfect for anyone who prefers something a little longer than short-shorts.Cons:My only issue is the sizing. I measured myself carefully and ordered according to the size chart in the listing, which resulted in ordering two sizes larger than my usual size. Unfortunately, they ended up being about two sizes too big.That said, I truly believe these would be great shorts if you order your regular size rather than following the size chart. If sized correctly, I think most people will be very happy with them

baleaf 9" Bermuda Long Shorts with Pockets, Light Blue, Medium: I’m 5’2” 164lbs, 34” Waist, 40” Hip, Inseam 24/25”, Upper Thighs 21”. I typically wear a M/L in tops and M or 8/10 in pants. These medium shorts fit well and run true to size. These are extremely lightweight and breathable. The high waist is elastic with a drawstring. These shorts are not restrictive at all, and I can easily bend, kneel and squat. The top of the waist folds a little while squatting. The pockets are deep and properly positioned. My Samsung Galaxy S21+ which is 6.5” long, fits inside the back zippered pocket. My biggest concern is that the light blue is a little see through. You can also see the lining of my tank top which is tucked in. As the photos show, the 9.1” Bermuda inseam length is almost as long as my thigh, so these do ride up a little while walking, but it’s not excessive. Longer legs may not have this issue. Overall, the quality and style are nice. Value is OK. Would recommend.

These quick dry shorts are no exception and are also well-made, comfortable, and suitable for hiking, travel, amusement parks, or for running around town doing errands.I am 5'4", 127 pounds, and have a 31" waist and 34" hips, and I ordered a medium size which fit perfectly. A size small probably would have fit fine as well, but I don't mind a little looseness in my athleticwear. The two main pockets are appreciated for things like keys, Chapstick, and other small items. It is an added bonus that these pants are UPF 50+ and quick drying in case you get wet while wearing them or need to put them over a wet bathing suit. Washing instructions say to machine wash in cold or warm water on the gentle cycle and hang to dry or tumble dry at a low temperature.Baleaf does activewear really well, and the clothing line is affordable and priced well compared to some other activewear lines. I definitely recommend these Bermuda long shorts.

These shorts are well made and run true to size. The side pockets are a good size, not too big or too small and have an extra band of fabric that is both stylish and stabilizing so the opening won’t stretch out over time. There is an additional pocket in the waistband at the center back with an invisible style zipper. It easily holds a credit card and cash. I like that the waist in these shorts is generous and can be easily adjusted with the drawstring. For my body shape other shorts and pants are often too tight at the waist so this is a big plus. They lay very smooth overall, no bunching or pulling. My only disappointment is the color. I ordered Navy and you can see in the photo they lean toward purple. I photographed it with a pair of typical blue jeans for comparison.

Most running shorts are far too short for my comfort so the longer length here is exactly what I wanted. They stay in place during a long walk and do not ride up at all. The pockets are deep enough to hold my phone securely without it bouncing around too much. The fabric dries quickly which is a big plus when it is humid outside or I get stuck in a rainstorm, which is frequent here in the south. I found the high waistband to be very supportive without being too restrictive. They have held their shape well after being through the laundry several times, but I do not put them in the dryer.

Since I’m now a full-fledged member of a local wellness center that has a weight room and an indoor track, I’m always looking for comfy clothing that’s appropriate and a bit beyond the sweats-and-tee model. For warmer weather, these super-stretchy Bermuda shorts will do the trick just fine. The fit is correct for my real size, and I love having roomy pockets (although I do lock up my phone while I’m working out – this is supposed to be a down time, plus it’s rude to disturb others in the facility). The fabric is a bit slicker than I expected – much like the track shorts I used to wear back when I was able to jog – so I wouldn’t consider wearing them anyplace else. But they’re perfect for the workout crowd.

I wear Baleaf Yoga pants and love them. Tried buying these long shorts. For me, these running shorts were too big though quality was Baleaf spot-on great. I carry my weight in my thighs and hips so I'd say go down in size when ordering. The color blue that I chose was very nice. Sadly, I had to return.
