I think this cowl is fantastic. It repels water, its lightweight, easy to pack away, easy to get out in a hurry, and it's nice an loose to fit over your head (if you have your hair styled) but can cinch down close to keep warm! It is definitely a wind breaker, and it felt like it was keeping the heat in. I think this is a must have for travel to rainy places like Ireland, or Scotland, or Seattle. Misting rain wont get to you with this.

I can’t say it gets very cold in central Texas too often, but it does occur on occasion. On those days when it gets below freezing (and our roads and highways ice over, our state’s electric grid fails and residents end up living like Neanderthals in their homes), it’s nice to have something covering the exposed areas when taking out the doggies to “do their business.” This balaclava seems to cover quite a lot of the face, but as it is currently August in Texas, I’m not really in a position to say if it will be warm enough when our three day freeze arrives. (It certainly made me sweat while wearing it briefly, but then again, walking across a room without a ceiling fan can bring on a subtle sheen of perspiration this time of year.) The balaclava appears to be well constructed with even seams and no loose threads. While the exterior of it feels like spandex yoga pants, the interior is soft and feels slightly fuzzy. It fits loosely to accommodate fat headed (or helmet wearing) individuals and features a drawstring and toggle pull to permit smaller headed (or non-helmet wearing) individuals to wear it as well. (Although it resists water, it isn’t waterproof, so I wouldn’t recommend it for scuba diving. Unfortunately, I’m not sure how long term breathing on the face mask portion of the balaclava will affect the warmth effectiveness once it gets damp because it’s too danged hot to wear this thing that long.) Overall, this balaclava seems to be decently priced for the quality.

This is thinner than I was expecting, it should keep the wind out, and it Large enough to have a lot of surface area for breathing.It took me a bit to figure out how to get the face mask cover. I am looking forward to trying this out in the winter.I got this for cold nights camping and was hoping the face mask could keep the ice off of my face.This does appear well made and looks like a quality product.

I ordered this mask in hopes it would keep me warm while.riding my bike and when I tried it on it was better then expected.. it tightens in 2 places around the mask area and in the back also the material.of the mask comes.down low onto the shoulders which is great to keep your neck warm.tge material is a soft material . When trying it on it was overly warm which is exactly what I wanted.. no more cold shoulders or neck and no more getting hit in the face with bugs while.riding this mask.keeps you completely covered in every way. I'm very please the color is a bright black the strings feel nice and tight and strong for long wearing use... this should keep me a long time unless someone takes it from me cause it's a great find.

It is a great balaclava very versatile, I love that it comes with a hood and mass, but can be separated and used separately. It's very warm and cozy, and is a nice addition to went to get up.Easy to clean, and it's a great value for the price

Winter ski mask! I use for bicycling. So versatile with the draw strings. Will fit over my bike helmet and has gator to cover my face from the cold air on my e bike. Super soft and love the color, pastel pink! Balaf has good quality stuff and i always love there products.

Just got this Baleaf balaclava, and I gotta say… it feels good. Soft, warm, and cozy, but still got that rugged vibe. Slips right on, covers my face, neck, ears… basically I’m winter-ready without looking like I tried too hard.Water-resistant too, so snow and drizzle don’t mess with my groove. I’m looking forward to throwing this on for some skiing, snowboarding, or just chillin’ outside watching the snow fall. Feels like I’m one with the cold—smooth, easy, and a little mysterious.Winter, I see you. I’m ready. Let’s take it slow and have some fun.

I live in the mountains in Ca. I Get a light snow, 2 to 4 inches , but thinking this would be good for me going for a walk in the cold weather, sitting outside on my 9 ac. EnjoyingThe weather, snow etc.This is made well and the inside Is soft and seem it would keep me warm for what I would use it for .Putting this over my head to get it on was ok, if you don’t care about how your hair looks, or when you take it off over your head!!The hood kept falling down my face, there are two ties to make it tighter fit !It cames around my neck and down a little,I’m a thin women, but I think this is more for a bigger person then me, and for a man.I’ll let my grown kits try this, if it works better for them , Ill be back.I ordered gray , like the color.
