It’s a gamble

Well, I ordered the green/yellow one, I knew it was going to be bright but it is so neon I was squinting at myself. I really wanted the red/rose one but out of my size. So I ordered the sea blue one, that one came in completely used, no tag, dirty in several places, and smelled bad!! Can’t win. Probably keep the green/yellow one for visibility—I’m not wearing that gross one claimed to be “new.” *returning*The quality and fit however seems great, I liked the hood fit, lightweight, not too tight so can layer or breathe underneath... All seemed alright, hence why I tried to order a second one but this whole thing had been a gamble. I’m a sky/trail runner so I’m excited to see how this holds up during monsoon season and above the treeline. ⛰️Size M, 145lbs, 5’8” athlete

Great jacket, just really big

I love the jacket but it was too large. For the size L, the chest measurement is 46”. I buy their yoga tops and I am a size L, but for this jacket I will reorder a size small. It is too big in every way. The sleeves are long, the body is too wide and the sleeves are too big as well. The jacket seems well made and once I have the right size, I’m sure it will be perfect.

Seems like a high quality jacket. Probably not very breathable.

The color is bright and should be very visible to drivers for safety. There are also some reflective strips. I was hoping to replace my beloved Pearl Izumi jacket that was fabric only with some kind of water-resistant not waterproof treatment, and this is not it. This is a RAIN jacket and has that plastic-y bonding in it. There is an upper back vent, but overall I would not expect this jacket to be breathable. Anyway...The Large fits nicely for size 10-12 and the shape is as flattering as you can expect from this type of jacket. There is a grippy strip in the inside of the back of the jacket and toggles to cinch it in to keep it close to your body riding your bike. There is a large zippered back pocket. The hood is weird. I don't think that once it's been rained on a bit that the "visor" will stand up off your face at all - certainly not maybe? I'd wear a billed hat under it if I needed to keep rain off my face for any length of time. I don't know if/how the hood would work with a cycling helmet. I didn't try it. Overall, the jacket seems very good quality, but you probably wouldn't use for high activity unless it's cooler.

Bikewa or Baleaf? Extremely similar except armpit vents!

So I ordered both Bikewa and Baleaf, in 2 sizes. I was actually more interested in the Baleaf because I liked the more periwinkle shade displayed in the ad, however they are exactly the same purple as each other and not periwinkle. The inside fabric and outside are identical, the sewing patterns are identical, the purple colors are identical. Here are the differences- the Bikewa has armpit vents and black zippers and a smaller reflective name on the back than the Baleaf which has no armpit vents, purple zippers, and a larger reflective name on the back. Otherwise, they are identical! The quality seems great imo but I have not worn it outside yet. They seem to trap heat. As far as fit- I ordered a XXL in Bikewa and a L in Baleaf… I will return both for an XL. I am 5’4” tall, 177 lbs. I loved the back length on the XXL that covered to the bottom of my rear, L went to the middle of my rear. L was nice looking fit up top with my 38” bust (36 B/C) but a little tight on my hips (42” hips). XXL was a little too baggy everywhere so thinking the XL will put me in the sweet spot for my shape. The arms are very long on both sizes, going past my finger tips, but both have “hook n loop” wrists to fix that. The hat is my only complaint on both- it is extremely deep and goes over my face even if I adjust the front opening tighter. It would benefit from a way to adjust the depth. I suspect if you wear a ball cap, bike helmet, or put your hair in a big bun or something to add depth, it might help. It is not a breathable fabric (not many waterproof options are- sounds swooshy and feels rubbery/plastic like and has a faint smell at least when new. I will be buying an XL to keep. Both brands seem great, just note the differences if they will matter to you.

Waterproof

Just back from hiking in Alaska where this rain jacket worked great! On 2 days I hiked 6 hours in rain and the jacket held up better than my friend’s name brand! It didn’t leak or hold in too much heat. I highly recommend this jacket. My only suggestion is to wear a baseball cap under the rain hood because the front hangover on the jacket needed additional support.

Runs small

It seems like a great coat, but the sizing is a lil funny. I bought my normal size, large, and it was snug with my base layers. I ordered the xl, and its too roomy with the base layers. I'm keeping the xl.

Zipper is difficult

I found the zipper difficult to zip up. Additionally, undersrm vents would’ve greatly improved vthis jacket.

Great fit and waterproof. The hood was easy to use. I loved the color,

Perfect for our Alaskan cruise. I loved the color. I have sea foam. Lightweight yet warm enough to look at glaciers from the deck of our ship.

Packs easily

Bought this packable rain jacket for an Alaskan cruise and it was kept me dry on a drizzly days on tours. Easy to pack in it's rear pocket and when wearing it that back pocket held mt baseball cap when not needed.

Cool yellow color

Great jacket for rainy workouts, very lightweight and comfortable. Lots of pockets are very convenient. Durable, after three years the color is still the same.
