Baleaf UPF 50+ Stretchy Short-Sleeve Shirt

Fits to size. I’m 5’1”, 115lb and a medium fits me nicely and loose so I probably could have gotten a small. The fabric is super lightweight, like I can barely feel that I’m wearing it. The material almost has a cooling feel to it when I touch it. I like that it has a bit of style to it with the extra stitches and curved bottom hem line. The color is just as it’s pictured and the sewing quality seems really good to me. I managed to sweat in it a bit, but the moisture never showed through. It’s very soft, almost silky and has a comfortable fit. It’s very stretchy which moves perfectly when doing anything active without exposing any skin that needs to stay covered. It smelled like new clothes should. I am very pale and need to avoid direct sunlight whenever I can so clothes like this are a must. I am happy adding this to my closet as it will get used quite a bit this coming summer. It is a treated polyester so I am hoping for the best when it comes to sun protection. I have not washed it yet so I cannot provide insight on how well it does there…..yet lol. It does wrinkle easily so maybe hang it up rather then put in a drawer. 🦭

It’s comfortable and breathable, but it doesn’t have the plush, velvety softness you’d find in the high‑end “buttery” athleisure fabrics from premium retailers. If your reference point for “buttery” is that cushioned, melt‑into‑your‑skin texture, this is a different experience entirely: smooth, technical, and built for function.What elevates the design for me are the details. The contrast stitching gives a simple sun shirt some personality, and the rounded hem is always a win — it moves with you, keeps the silhouette clean, and avoids that boxy cutoff you get with straight hems. I also appreciate that it runs a little longer than today’s cropped standard. When I’m working out, I want to focus on my form and performance, not whether my shirt is creeping up or spotlighting every bend and crunch.The sleeves do run longer than most short‑sleeve workout tops. On my broader shoulders, they hit at a comfortable spot, but someone with very narrow shoulders might find the length edging toward a half‑sleeve look. The sleeve opening is on the narrower side, though the fabric has plenty of stretch, so it should work for most people. Those with very muscular upper arms may prefer a roomier sleeve style.Where this top really shines is value. At roughly a third of the price of the truly buttery options from the big‑name athletic retailers, it’s a genuinely solid alternative. It’s not trying to imitate those plush fabrics — and it doesn’t need to. For a lightweight, sun‑protective workout tee with thoughtful design details, the price‑to‑performance ratio is excellent.

I am super happy to have this shirt. It will be perfect for working out, or even just wearing while shopping, etc. It is very silky and lightweight. It is NOT see through. This top has a lovely design which is slightly fitting in the middle and has a nice curved drape at the bottom. The stitching along the bottom and along the sleeves give it a nice stylish look. I love the length of the sleeves. I am petite and I find many times either the sleeves are super short or are beyond my wrists. These sleeves are the perfect length close to the elbows but above them. I ordered a Medium and it is the perfect size. I typically wear medium but many styles vary and I always wonder if I should size up, I am glad I did not. I found that the medium is perfect even though there is slight fitting at the waist. I am looking forward to testing this on a hot summer day in the sun because it promises quick wicking. I think that for the quality, fit, and style this is an excellent value offering. I will check out other products from this company. The other thing to note is that even though these pictures show some wrinkling, it had just come out of the package. Once I put it on there were no wrinkles. This will also pack very well when traveling as you can roll it up and put it on the tiniest area of a suitcase and it will be ready to wear instantly.

This is a nicely made shirt that has very soft almost silky feel to it. My daughter likes it although I'd say to size up because of the way it's made. It fits her, but is a little snug in spots. She does like it though and says it feels real nice on her sensitive skin.The material is very thin as others have pointed out, but it wasn't see through thin. The one we got was the light blue color. The style of the stitching is what my daughter refer to as fire, whatever that means, although I think that's a good thing. As stated, she likes it quite a bit, just think I should have ordered a size up.

I got the Yellow color in X-Small size for my 12-year-old daughter, who wears XS when she wears adult sizes. It's a little bit big but not by enough that I would adjust size orders. I think the sizing is pretty much accurate. The Yellow color looks pretty good and looks like it would go with a lot of bottoms. The line across the middle under the stomach is very slightly weird but in general this just looks like a monochrome T-shirt. My daughter thinks it's ugly but she didn't really explain why she said that so I can only go by my judgment. The shirt is 100% polyester and it seems pretty good quality in terms of things such as durability. The sun protection appears to work although that's somewhat anecdotal and I don't really have scientific ways to test this. The value for the money is okay at the list price and I think if you're in the market for a UPF protection shirt, it's probably worth buying.

I’m really liking the style of this short sleeve shirt. It’s a really good length for me and the style defines the waist and the hem is curved. The contrast stitching gives it a unique look. I’m not one who likes to tuck in shirts, so that stitching detail, especially near the hem, looks really nice when left untucked.Do note in their description that the material is “exceptionally lightweight”. That is so very true. I purchased the light gray and it is NOT see thru at all. For as light as the fabric is, I was shocked, but pleased. I don’t know about the other light colors. Should keep one cooler during the warmer months or when working out.Before ordering, check the size chart measurements carefully. Since this shirt is “slightly” form fitting, I ordered up a size because I didn’t want any “trouble” spots to be accentuated, if you know what I mean. Turned out I did the right thing. The shirt fits looser, drapes nicely, but doesn’t look frumpy because of the style/cut of the shirt. At least I’m happy with it. If you have nothing to hide, ordering your regular size should work out just fine.

Where is my order ???? I never received my order and this company stopped emailing me . I can no longer track this order . Do yourself a favor and but from another company.

The longer sleeves are such a plus for this nice looking shirt. I love the fabric. The longer length is flattering.

Love the color and the fit too and design

Purchased for my wife. She likes it and finds it comfortable and cool. A little thin and lightweight but that describes most cooling tops.

Very comfortable, light and breathable.

The shirt is generally fine and fairly true to size. The material is stretchy and thin and good for exercising. I'll be using this for jogging, walking, maybe some hiking. I don't find it to be the right fit or stretch for things like yoga, where I'm bending over a lot. And I'm not a fan of the neckline, which feels a bit uncomfortable and too close to the neck for me. I'm more used to v-necks, so that may be the issue, or it's just the fit of the shirt. Fine for some things, but not others. I think the price is fair for the material quality and fit, which are both good. It won't be my "go-to" but it's a nice option for certain activities.

3.5 stars. I was really excited for this shirt when I opened it because I loved the sewing details on it which are good quality. I loved the fabric which is buttery soft and super light weight for exercise. But then I put it on….the cut of this shirt was super unflattering on me. It makes me look droopy and short waisted. The sleeves are too long and come to my elbow. The way the seams come to the neck line make my chest look elongated even though I have a sports bra on. The length is a little awkward and feels a bit short for the style they were going for even though I am quite short. I did buy a 2X and feel like it was true to size and fit properly. I don’t feel confident about the way I look in this shirt, which is especially disappointing given how awesome I thought it was going to be. Price of $22 was appropriate for the quality. Maybe it will look better on your body type.
