As good, if not better than the chain stores at a value price!

Boyfriend loves them. He already had a pair from the chain store “dicks” but, when I got my pair, he liked the cushion and the fact it didn’t come 3/4 down his thighs. To be honest, his look more comfortable than mine!!! And mine are comfortable. He loves them and chooses them over the other pair on every bike ride we have done since. They are lightweight, they don’t cause him to sweat. The fit is perfect! He always gets large in everything. Very small man. 165 lbs 5’6” with small legs, no hips or thighs and large is always baggy on him. Medium worked perfect for him. As boxer briefs are meant to be a snug comfortable fit. These biking shorts stretch well, have the coverage it’s suppose to have just as advertised. I highly recommend these, for anyone looking for riding shorts. It makes the ride much easier and comfortable and it’s not noticeable you’re wearing them. I would not hesitate. They been through the wash multiple times without any issues. Along with drying. They are fantastic, I am going to look in the future does this company make them for women as well, as mine are comfortable but they don’t have the same kind of seem etc. I think he got a little nicer than me. I say go for it. You won’t be disappointed, don’t go to the big chain stores and overpay for something just as good right here!

Excellent quality for the price

Great value, I use these under my shorts for mountain biking. The legs are very short and my Wife said "you're not leaving the house like that" lol. But, the padding works well for what I needed them for and the price is great.

Great product... great price.

Extremely small... Order two sizes up!

Ordering the right size

Perfect fit when you order the size just above your normal size. The elasticity and padding will be too tight if you don't.

Reasonable Investment... but first make sure your bike is properly fit to you

If you’re a novice to cycling and experiencing discomfort or pain in “those places”, I strongly suggest you confirm you’re properly dialed into your bike before you buy anything. By that, I mean first check that your saddle is at the correct height. (With the ball of your foot on the peddle at its lowest point, your knee should be slightly flexed. Not a lot, just slightly.) After that, confirm your handlebars are properly positioned. Too low and you get too much lean and too much pressure on the perineum; too high and you wind up sitting back a tad, creating extra pressure on the sit bones.Your LBS can handle this in 10 minutes and it resolves many problems new riders experience. That said, these shorts are a big help for mild discomfort at a reasonable price. Consider also a gel chamois versus this sponge. Comments about size are accurate; consider buying one size larger.

Makes Biking More Comfortable

I'm a casual bike rider covering some 20 miles each week on a casual ride on the bike path.I can complete the ride without these shorts but at a cost. These shorts take a lot of the pain out of a casual bike ride.

Adds riding time to my sport bike

I wear these when riding my '06 Yamaha FZ1 and they add about a 1/2 hour of ride time before I need to take a break. I machine wash them with my regular laundry and just air dry them. They are holding up well.

Good first pair, but a little short in the leg

I was having soreness from my bike saddle and usually after 10-15 miles I couldn't take it anymore. With these Baleaf padded bike underwear, I can easily do 2x the ride that I use to. I don't know how I was able to go so long without owning a pair. It's a game changer. The padding is good and size M for a 34 waist felt ok, maybe a little small. My only criticism is they run a bit short in the inseam, and don't have as good non-slip fittings on the leg openings. So what that translates to is they eventually slide and bunch up, which can be uncomfortable.I took a chance and tried the other highly reviewed shorts by SOUKE (also on Amazon), and they are significantly better by improving on the issues mentioned above.so I wasn't sure what to expect. Durable but did not help for me

Durable, but didn't work for me. I was actually even more uncomfortable using them and more sore. Since anatomy is not the same, Im giving this a decent score, just know it will not work for everybody type such is my case. I'm 6'1 280lbs....

A little thick and hot for summer time.

These shorts actually did fit well and the padding on them were great and comfy. I just returned them because I felt they might be a little too big and I felt the fabric was too thick and hot for the summer. But I may search for a lighter and more breathable model for the summer.

Good pad

I like this company and try to purchase their stuff. It is a good pad. And fit is as listed. However if you have big thighs like I do the inseam is like 1" too short. On me the (leg) part rides up to zero inseam. With other bike shorts I've had . I always just pulled the leg to adjust the pad. It's hard to grab with these. But still better than those shorts with liner. Never ever did I find a pair of those that was comfortable. Like the swim suit your mom made you wear to the beach.

Below-average product in my comparison review of low-cost cycling underwear shorts

I'm a cyclist. Most frequently, I'm riding my road bike for exercise on either greenways or roads, in which case I'm wearing padded, suspender-style cycling shorts. On occasion, however, I'm riding my commuter bike while on a recreational ride with my wife. In these cases, I've got a pair of loose-fitting, unpadded touring bike shorts to wear. In the past, I've simply worn a pair of athletic undershorts under the touring bike shorts. Over time, I had decided that really needed the padding that I had with my regular cycling shorts, but didn't want to wear my regular cycling shorts for recreational cycling instead of my touring shorts (as we sometimes combine a ride with a restaurant stop or social visit).Wearing regular cycling shorts underneath my touring shorts would be way too bulky and inconvenient, so my solution was to look for a pair of relatively-inexpensive padded cycling underwear shorts to combine with my touring bike shorts.Padded cycling underwear shorts have padding similar to, but less dense than, regular cycling shorts (so not quite as good, but good enough for a "comfort" saddle or a well-padded MTB saddle). They are made of lighter-weight, mesh fabric (similar to daily-wear stretch boxer briefs). That lighter fabric is a bit more revealing, so they really need to be worn underneath another pair of shorts, pants, or tights (which is what they're made for, of course).Given that I would be using these only occasionally, I decided to limit the cost to $25 (at the time of my purchase on 5/25/22).Based on my experience with regular cycling shorts, I was specifically looking for Mens Cycling Underwear Shorts that had the following features: * Wide waistband (narrow waistbands tend to roll during a ride or lose their stretch sooner after repeated washing). * Ample padding (for use with a comfort or well-padded MTB saddle) with good coverage; a too-small pad is as bad as a too-thin pad. * Longer inseam (I'm 6'2" with 34" inseam legs and long thighs; shorter inseam stretch shorts ride up on my thighs, which is annoying during daily wear, let alone during a bike ride). * Leg bottom-seam gripper material (again, to lessen the chance of the legs riding up); this is usually some kind of stretchy silicone material. * A structural design with multiple panels (for an optimized fit for a seated position); good cycling shorts will have 8 or more panels, exclusive of the crotch pad panel; the reviewed products all have either 9 or 10 panels. Note: The lighter-weight stretch mesh fabric used in the reviewed products may make panel count a less-significant factor than with regular cycling shorts. * Flat seams at all panel joints (as opposed to a gathered seam, which bunches up, and can cause irritation during athletic activities).I'll admit that this was a pretty demanding feature list for a target price of <$25; to my surprise, there were 5 candidate products that were worth ordering for comparison.Below are my evaluations of the fit and features of these cycling underwear shorts, with the names given as shown on the Amazon product pages (price in parentheses; all were solid black in size XL and fit my 39" waist comfortably; inseam lengths measured from the center of the crotch panel):* Przewalski Mens Cycling Underwear Shorts 4D Padded Bike Undershorts Bicycle MTB Liner Shorts with Silicone Leg Grippers ($14.99) - This product is my top choice, as it has all my desired features, and is the only product with a 9" inseam. It is made with a 90% polyester, 10% spandex mesh material (according to the Amazon product description; there was no material composition tag in the product, but it definitely felt like polyester microfiber). Additionally, the leg gripper is a solid silicone band, which is what I'm used to seeing in higher-quality cycling shorts. Finally, this product has 100% flat seams. One possible con: Because of the long inseam, the bottom of the leg falls just below the thickest part of my thighs, making the bottom edge feel slightly loose, but the quality of the gripper band gives me confidence that I won't have any issues with their riding up. If you have more-slender thighs, however, this may not be the product for you. Note that the product received didn't visually match the photos on the Amazon product page--the waistband has the brand name on it (versus solid black in the photos) and the seat pad design looks slightly different (more forward coverage than shown in the photos, which is actually good, though it does leave me wondering whether you're actually getting the padding densities that are shown in the pad "exploded view" image).* Souke Sports Men's Cycling Underwear Shorts 4D Padded Bike Bicycle MTB Liner Shorts with Anti-Slip Leg Grips ($24.99) - The most expensive product in this comparison, it has a higher-density pad than my top choice (though the coverage isn't quite as good to the front of the pad). If you'll be riding on a road bike saddle (or a less-padded MTB saddle) instead o...
