Perfect Pants!

These pants were perfect for our trip to the Smoky Mountains. They were comfortable and cool for hiking. I am curvy and wear a size 14-16 pant and got an XL and they are perfect. I bought them in 3 colors. They can be cinched up or which was perfect for exploring a waterfall. I have large caves so I could only cinch mid calf, but it was perfect. I love the option to wear as pants straight leg or cinched. Would be good if bugs were bad.

Awesome Comfortable Go-to Hiking Pants

Love these pants! I wore them every day for an 8-day tour of Iceland. I hiked glaciers, visited waterfalls, and searched for the northern lights in them. They were perfect for drizzly weather. I wore lightweight long underwear underneath but leggings would work fine. For crazy rainy weather I topped them with a pair of 100% waterproof pants. I love the zipper pockets- kept my wallet and phone safe. They are lightweight and breathable. Definitely my go-to hiking pants.

Overall: 7/10 comfort, 8/10 style, 8/10 fit 9/10 functionalityGot these recommended from a friend. I liked that the reviews said they weren’t hot in heat and kept you warm in cool . I’m not a big shorts person, my thunder thighs always chafe so bad. I was worried about the length being too long based on reviews but they’re a perfect length for me and I’m 5’5”, about 165-170 lbs and usually wear a size 12 bottom. I got the large.I don’t know about the reviews that say these feel like pajama pants. They feel like hiking pants. Still make some swoosh when you walk. Slight resistance to bending your leg. But yeah, what you expect for hiking pants.I like the fit a lot which is so hard to find for my body type since I have a smaller waist and big butt and thighs, they’re always too tight in the middle of my thigh and waaay too big in my waist, so I usually just hike in leggings. My only complaint is it does kind of bunch up between the crotch and waist- it is designed to wear high-waisted, so if you wear it any lower it bunches a lot and gives a lot of fabric hanging under your crotch. I think they’d probably be more flattering if they weren’t high waisted or had a slightly tighter stretch fabric on the upper part of the pants to smooth that out.Overall I think these will be the best you can get for hiking without spending $80+ and years looking for something, I’m excited to give them a try.

Inconsistent sizing among different colors

These hiking pants are excellent. They feel light and breezy, is comfortable due to the slight stretch in material and is functional with it's multi pockets. I have a black already and came back to purchase a navy blue same size medium 27" inseam. Unfortunately the same size in navy blue is much bigger in the mid section than the black :-( all other area seem to match up except the mid section and because of this there's a bulge with extra fabric in the lower belly areas. It was super unflattering. I have found many inconsistency of size in same style different color items. The pic shows the black medium 27" on top of the navy medium 27"

Great fitting pants

These pants live up to the manufacturer’s descriptions with a lightweight but durable fabric that has just the right amount of stretch. I haven’t tried them beyond fall in AK, but the fabric seems like it will be comfortable and breathable in warm temps for an upcoming trip to a warmer climate. I weigh ~200# with a pear shape, wider through the hips and bottom, and the XL fits perfectly and are very complimentary. I’ve just ordered two more pairs in different colors. These might just be my new favorite outdoor bottoms!

Long enough finally!

I got these pants to wear on the train. They worn great, no wrinkles and very comfortable.I removed the ugly black zipper pulls. Why can't these pulls match the pant color? I was tempted to replace the black drawstring but it is stitched down in the back. I'm sure it can be undone but I just tucked the strings to the inside so they wouldn't show with a white top.My main problem with pants is that they are never long enough but these talls with 31" inseam fit perfect. I have long legs for my height.I live in AZ and would love to see them make these in a white or off white in tall of course.

These Baleaf pants are so lightweight and comfortable. I ordered them mainly for travel but will end up wearing them everyday when not traveling. I have them in 4 colors. I ordered the petite due to only being 5’0” and they fit great.

My go-to pants

I love these pants so much. Sized up for my first pair and they’re a bit big but are super comfortable — they’re cool and breathe well, they’re also very light. I really like having so many pockets, plus that those have zippers. I use them for hiking, camping, gardening, running errands, hanging out around the house…so, pretty much everything at this point. They clean up well and have also held up very well especially considering how thin they are.I bought my first pair in black and now have 4 pair in 3 different colors. Will likely buy more too.

Light weight, flexible

These are fitting true to size (I’m a Med) with ample room. Lots of give/flexible, great adjustable length. Very soft and light weight, would need leggings or tights on colder days, perfect for time of year. Two front pockets, one back pocket, one side pocket.

Favorite pants ever!!

Got this a year ago and these are my go-to outdoor pants for hiking and rock climbing. They have survived many many washes (I try to mostly hang dry my clothes or low heat in the dryer) and many many days of abuse on various kinds of rocks. It only started to tear this last climb over the left pocket (because I kept my phone there) where I was basically snuggling myself onto the rock for hours.I'm 5'1, 34-27-35, so I got a small. The pants goes perfectly to my ankles. Love that they have enough BIG pockets for my phone and whatever else I need to fit. The fabric is breathable and stretchy too! Definitely prefer these to the prana stretch pants in terms of fit and fabric. And it's much more affordable! Will definitely get this again if I need a replacement (no I'm not one to buy multiples of an item all at once) so PLEASE don't change ANYTHING about these pants.

Absolutely perfect!

I can’t say enough positive things about these pants. I bought them for a trip to Ireland and they were perfect in every way. They (and a black pair) were my go-to pants for two weeks of hiking and touring. They are comfortable as can be, wrinkle resistant, waterproof and wind-resistant. The fit of the size small was perfect for me with my hiking boots. I’m 5’3” with a 30” inseam and weigh 110. I received so many compliments on them from others in our tour group. And shared the link with several people. Oh, and you can easily layer leggings underneath for colder temps - it was very comfortable to do so.

Great travel /outdoor pants; true to size; designed for function; stretchable; water resistant

I am very satisfied with these pants. These just arrived--wish I had ordered them a long time ago. They are everything the manufacturer says they are. I ordered 27" XL and they are great. I normally wear a 14-16 in pants but am about 5'1" . These are a perfect length--they sit just above my feet/ shoes, at my ankles when standing. When seated, they rise up. I like these features: the pockets (I can fit my cell phone in any of them); the stretch; the feel of the fabric; the water resistance; the color. I ordered the pond color--a sort of light green leaning towards turquoise. I ordered these for an upcoming month-long trip to the Southern Hemisphere in their summer/ our winter. These will protect me from the sun and be breathable. The design with tucks or gussets helps them be flexible and fit. They are true to size. This is one of three styles of pants I've ordered from this company, and I've been satisfied with all of them. If they are like the others, they will wash and wear very well--easy care.

Soft pants, comfortable fit, durable fabric, large zippered pockets.

I choose these pants for international travel combined with some rigorous hiking. They are nicer looking than my typically baggy hiking pants, although on these the legs do not zip off for shorts. They are very lightweight / quick dry. The fabric is stretchy, but not sticky or clinging. The waistband is exceptionally comfortable - it is a soft, 1.5 inch wide elastic band that does not curl or dig into my tummy. Not sure what to do with the drawstring on the waistband; I'll probably just remove it since the waistband is stretchy enough by itself to accommodate my "fat" days, as well as my "skinny" days. The 3 pockets are all very large: there is plenty of space for a passport, currency or credit cards, and a large phone. All 3 pockets zip shut - making it more difficult for pick-pockets to get at my personal documents or phone. The drawstrings at the bottom make it easy to cinch up the pants to knee level for crossing shallow rivers, or if using toilet areas that are not getting cleaned. Medium fits me well at 5'4" and 130lbs. I'm getting another one in black if that color is available.

Excellent Travel Pant

I wore these pants for the first time on a tour of Morocco and wore them nearly every day for 3-1/2 weeks. They were wonderful! They are lightweight and comfortable - and never got dirty or wrinkled. They were just as cool in the 95-degree Sahara desert as the shorts I brought. I received lots of compliments, and I'm sure my fellow tour members will be buying a pair. I'm just sorry I didn't bring a second pair for variety, but the dark gray color went with everything. I am now ordering a pair in light gray as well. I can't recommend these pants enough for travel.

Sun protection, lightweight hiking pants.

I really like bae leaf products. One star off because the cut is a little wonky and the color is off. I took the advice of reviewers and sized up, my weight is in the tush and thighs but not in belly or waist. That said, by the chart I should have been L but ordered XL, glad I did because these pants are designed for no tush. They aren't as stretchy as I thought, but since I sized up, I have plenty of room and they drape well. I double checked the package and it is marked light green but I would say they are a light brown, no green tint in them but for camping/ hiking, it's fine, it's a neutral outdoorsy color. I will keep them. They will be great for hiking where you need to climb, scramble. Lightweight so good for hot weather for sun protection, warm and cool weather but definitely not dipping into cold unless you later underneath. I wouldn't count on them for wind protection but a light breeze at the beach, yes So mid spring thru early fall. Easy to pack, take very little space.

I'm 5'5", 165 lbs., usually wear a size 14 in jeans, and I got the black in 29" length.I don't like clothes that advertise brand names, so am not crazy about the brand name of these pants on the leg. But they are truly the perfect travel pants otherwise. Lots of zippers for everything, lightweight, comfortable, and the black goes with all of my other travel clothes. They've held up well in a wide variety of circumstances. They are surprisingly cool in stifling Thai heat, yet dry quickly after a rainstorm. I'm thinking about getting another identical pair right now.

Quick dry and light travel pants

I wore these pants happily all over Europe for hiking and general travel. I’m 5’4” 133 and M fit great. The drawstring waist doesn’t roll down and fits nicely- no bubble butt effect. The zipper pockets are handy. I used the pull-cord bottom to shorten the legs a bit, but the string made a weird loop that I wondered about getting caught on things. I re-wore the same pair multiple days and rinsed them in the sink, and they were dry without wrinkles the by the next morning. The only thing I noticed was that the fabric was not super breathable- although it is light. I felt a little sweaty after sitting for a while and wondered if it was b/c of the fabric. Still nice, comfy pants for the money.

Fantastic pants, but probably need to size down

Super comfortable, well fitting pants that move with you, even in a deep squat, without restricting. One of my very favorite features is that they lined the waist band with a softer material. Game changer! My other pairs of hiking pants don't have this, and the main fabric doesn't feel as nice against your skin as this lining does. Well done, baleaf. I was concerned the ankle toggles would be annoying or ticklish, but I don't even notice them. For me the length is perfect with sneakers and with mid hiking boots. I am 5'4" and got the 29" pants. I am a size 10 and generally order a large in pants. When I ordered these in large, they were way too big so I returned those and got these (medium) which fits perfectly. Might be because this brand's "large" is 12/14 when other brands' "large" is 10/12. I bought these mainly for an upcoming backpacking trip, but having tested them out wearing them to work (I'm a chiropractor, working in a gym setting), I think I'm safe to review them now. I usually wear tights when backpacking but pulling them back up when sweaty after pottying is so difficult and these are very quick drying and allow for more air flow. I'll update this review IF I find something about them that warrants fewer than 5 stars after my trip. As it is, I anticipate getting a second pair for the trip. This was an Amazon brand purchase win for me.

Odd fit if you are a more muscular build

I loved these pants. I really wanted to keep them but the sizing is not for my body type. I’m 5’3 around 125-130 pounds with a more full/muscular build. Small was a little too small and medium was way too big. I usually wear a size 4 in pants. The pants felt very lightweight/cool and were very comfortable material. Petite length was right on point and hit little above my ankles. Pockets/zippers felt like a good quality. I could see someone wearing these as hiking pants, scrub pants, or just casual wear as the material is very nice. Pockets could easily hold a phone, small wallet, etc. If these pants had fit me, I would’ve ordered at least 2 pairs. Great quality pants, just not for me.
