They are comfortable, long enough, and stay on.I wear these for swim shorts, as the elastic on the waist is tight enough, they are longer than many swim shorts you look for, and are looser around the hips and below than others I've had.As they are a tiny bit clingy on the rear, I do not wear them for everyday use, but they are perfect for being in the water!

Definitely not 7" these are at least as long as my 9" bike shorts. Good material for being active and seem like good quality but haven't worn them yet just tried on. I'm a server and got them for working outside this summer. I'm always between M and L and went L based on reviews but definitely could have done M. The L is fine but a bit baggier than necessary even with my big booty. Should have sized down but they'll get the job done.For reference I'm thicker/athletic hourglass build 5'3" and 155lbs
